WILL WE GET AN INTERIM RELIEF IF THE 7th PAY COMMISSION SUBMITS ITS RECOMMENDATIONS LATE?
As we all know, the central ministry has extended the time period for submission of the 7th pay commission report for another four months. Days before this was announced, newspapers reported that 7th pay commission report will be submitted in another one or two months. The 7th CPC report may be submitted any time within this four-month period.
If the report is submitted at the end of December, the implementation of the 7th CPC may actually take some more time. In this situation, can we get an interim relief? In a response given to a question raised in the Rajya Sabha, it was said that there would be no need for an interim relief as the 7th CPC will be implemented in time without any delay. But now, in the present scenario, the Central government employees expect an interim relief.
