Revision of rates of Allowances with DA rates increased to 50%
The Controller General of Defence Accounts issued a directive regarding the revision of rates of allowances, in light of the increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) rates to 50%. Referring to a communication from the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, the CGDA clarified that no separate order would be issued on the matter as the position was already clear in the respective Office Memorandums (OMs).

This HQrs is in receipt of Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure ID No. 2/5/2017-E.1I(B) dated 20.03.2024 on.thé above subject. The DoE has | clarified that the position’ is very clear in the respective OMs and no separate order will be issued in the matter.
2. Therefore, it is requested to take action for revision of rates of such allowances, in accordance with the enhanced rate of DA at the rate of 50% effective from 01.01.2024.
