Subject: Implementation of composite pension payment Order form to replace the existing-regarding.
Sir,
The Central Provident Fund Commissioner has approved a composite pension payment order form (copy enclosed) replacing the existing pension payment order. The Information Services Division has made requisite changes in the application software to replace the existing pension payment order with the revised pension payment order.
2. Accordingly, it is now decided that the composite pension payment order will be implemented with effect from 20.09.2017. The composite pension payment order will be issued for all categories of pensioners except in the case of issue/revision of pension payment order prior to 26.09.2008 which involves either Return of capital or commutation or both. In such cases, existing form may be used for PPO.
3. All Regional Provident Fund Commissioners are requested to ensure the implementation of this composite PPO with effect from 20.09.2017. A copy of the same be circulated to the pension disbursing banks in your jurisdiction for information.
(This issues with the approval of CPFC)
Yours faithfully,
(R.M.Verma)
Addl.Central PF Commissioner-II (Pension)
Vee Gee says
All revised PPOs so far issued by the Government of India does not indicate the post/designation from which the pensioner has retired. This is not fair. A person reaches a certain post ordesignation by working for 35 or 40 or even more years. So his post is the result of a life time of dedicated work. And simply neglecting the name of the post while issuing the PPO is unfair to say the least.
