OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject:- Fixation of scales of pay for posts of Under Secretary and Deputy Secretary under the Central Civil Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 1947.
A question has been raised as to how the pay of officers who are members of the various services mentioned in the para 2(a) of this Ministry’s Officer Memorandum No.F.10(44)-Est.(Spl)/47 dated the 28th June, 1948, and are appointed to posts under the Government of India after the 16th August 1947, should be regulated on appointment as Under Secretary or Deputy Secretary. The undersigned is directed to say that the pay of such officers also should be regulated in the manner indicated in the para 2(a) of the said Officer Memorandum.
