Sub: PNM/NFIR item No.15/2015 – Grant of financial upgradation under MACPS to SSE-Drawing (formerly diploma holder tracers) appointed against DR quota vacancies as Assistant Draftsmen – reg.
The undersigned is directed to refer to the minutes of meeting held on 15.07.2015 on the above subject and to state that the case of the employees who initially recruited as Tracers in scale of Rs.260-430 (now equivalen to GP-200/PB-1) and promoted as Asstt. Draftsman in scale of Rs.330-560 (now equivalent to GP-2400) against 50% DR quota has been duly examined and it has been observed that the promotion of the concerned staff to the post of Asstt. Draftsman against 50% DR quoia was adjusted against restructuring vacancies and have been allowed promotion with retrospective effect i.e 01.01.1984.
It is further stated that the post of Asstt. Drafts next higher functional post for Tracers Category and therefore, in terms of point 31 instruction/clarifications dt.19.02.2002 which stipulates that where placement in higher grade involves assumption of igher duties and responsibilities then such upgradation will be viewed as promotion/upgradation has to be reckoned for the purpose of ACP/MACP Scheme.
