I am withdrawing my earlier comments on MACP2 7th cpc pay fixation. In 6th cpc while opting for Macp pay fixation from the date of next increment.Band pay remains unchanged, but the grade difference viz Rs1400 to be paid from 21/2/16. In7th cpc pay Matrix, no grade pay is involved employee ‘x’ has to opt for Macp pay fixation straight away as per 7the cpc , from 21/2/16 DNI as 1/1/17 which is not beneficial one or opt for the date of next increment in 7/16 which is beneficial one, their x will get one regular increment and Macp increment,And the revised pay in pay Matrix has to be fixed either equal to or next higher in Level 6 and DNI as 7/17. The above procedure is a correctone.Hence I disagree with your method ofpay fixation.

My basic on 1.1.2016 is 20430+4600 Grade Pay.
Got MACP in June 2016 and upgraded from 4600 to 4800.
Kindly advise me whether to take MACP from June or July 2016(along with regular increment)

I fully agree with Macp-|| pay fixation, opting for 7cpc pay fixation wef the date of Macp 21/2/16 (B.pay+G.pay+Diff in G.pay)that is called initial fixation.Based on the option first July 16 increment, than regular Macp pay fixation viz one increment.
