Dated: 31/05/2020

The Secretary (E),
Railway Board,
New Delhi.

Dear Sir,

Sub: Allotment of higher GP of Rs.4600/- in PB-2 to Loco Pilots (Mail/Express) -reg.

Ref: (i) Item no. 8 of Record Note of Discussions held by MS with NFIR on 25/10/2018 sent vide Board’s letter No. 2018/E(LR)II/I/5 dated 26/11/2018 to GS/NFIR.
(ii) Railway Board’s letter No. PCVI/2009/DAC-1/Pt-2 dated 28/02/2020 to GS/NFIR.
(iii) NFIR’s letter No. 11/95/2020 dated 20/03/2020 to Railway Board.

Attention is invited to NFIR’s reply to Railway Board vide letter No. 11/95/2020 dated 20/03/2020 (copy enclosed).

It is once again requested to fix a separate meeting at the level of CRB, MS & FC for discussing this pending subject and also other related pending items mentioned in Board’s letter dated 28/02/2020 for the purpose of ensuring justice to the Loco Running Staff and other Supervisory Officials, SSEs etc. It needs to be appreciated that despite discussions since last several years and commitments given by the Railway Board on these pending issues, there has been no tangible result and on the other hand Railway Board tries to express its inability, stating that Ministry of Finance had not favoured the proposals. This reply of Railway Board has been causing serious disappointment among employees in general who feel that the Board never wanted to prevail upon MoF to clear the proposals and equally not keen to take independent decisions.

The date for special meeting with CRB, FC and DG (HR) be fixed in consultation with the Federation.

yours faithfully

(Dr.M.Raghavaiah)
General Secretary
