Sub: Daily Allowance (T.A.) to railway employees on tour — reimbursement of Hotel Charges when no rest house facility made available — reg.
Ref: NFIR/PNM item No.32/2018.
Railway Board’s attention is invited to the minutes of the PNM meeting held between NFIR and Railway Board on 25/26 April, 2019, extract of which is given below:-
“After deliberation, it was agreed to form a committee comprising of EDF (E), EDE (G) and ED (L&A)-I to look into the matter and to formulate the policy on reimbursement to Railway Staff where Rest House facility is not made available”.
NFIR desires to know the progress made by ED Committee towards formulating the policy for reimbursement to railway staff where rest house facility is not made available. NFIR therefore requests to Railway Board to kindly apprise the Federation, the progress made on the PNM subject, treating the matter as urgent.
