Sub: Grant of financial upgradation under MACPS to JE/P.Way in Railways-reg.

(RBE.No. 64/2013).
(iii) NFIR’s letter No. IV/MACPS/09/2020 dated 19/03/2020.
Kind attention of Railway Board is invited to NFIR’s letter No. IV/MACPS/09/2020 dated 19/03/2020 (copy enclosed).
NFIR reiterates that those Sr.P.Way Supervisors upgraded to the post of JE/P. Way as a result of merger w.e.f. 3rd July, 2013 should be granted financial upgradation under MACPS in terms of Para 5 of Annexure to Board’s letter No. PC-V/2009/ACP2 dated 10/06/2009 (DoP&T O.M. dated 19th May, 2009) and clarification No. 31 issued by the Railway Board vide instructions contained in RBE No. 24/2002 dated 19/02/2002 for reckoning the entire service of P. Way Supervisors/JE P. Way for the purpose of financial upgradation under MACPS.
NFIR, once again requests the Railway Board to kindly expedite action for granting financial upgradation under MACPS to those P. Way Supervisors upgraded as JE/P. Way as a result of merger.
